Daily Journal Continued November 26,1998, William Thomas Thompson This is Thanksgiving day,an American tradition,a legal holiday. It will take a while to write about all of this and maybe a book or two to tell it better. Now we are in a high speed taxi heading for the airport at5a.m.after packing last night and getting up at 4 a.m. for a 6.54 flight to Amsterdam and home. We are passing by the old walls of old Rome in the darkness and by the catacombs in this direction again North of the city and onto a superhighway or expressway past the exit for Florence and continue on the airport where we checked in KLM for the entire flight home but repeatedly delays kept being announced because of fog in Amsterdam until the time of interchange was used. we were told that all flights would be late and they were except one. We arrived at the gate to see a NW747 sitting there but we were told that it was closedout and we couldnot get on even though we were there at 11a.m.,takeoff time. Now praying especially hard for safety because this is a MD11. Amsterdam is a different place and more like us,we had Thanksgiv- ing dinner in the airport of fresh baked salmon with potato cakes and broccoli,it was all very good and KLM provided it plus a call home at their Postoffice. They booked us on a direct KLMflight to Memphis9hours long and we had 4seats each to laydown,the service was good. We made the 8 p.m. airlink to GSP without our luggage. Thank you Lord for this land and freedom we enjoy today. I hate to hear people call this turkeyday and I hate the sound of holidays in talking Christmas or xmas,I am not ashamed of the God we serve and proudly pronounce HisName in all things,Thanksgiving started with the pilgrims and the Indians giving thanks for agood harvest in the Fall. The people of Briton came over to get relig-ious freedom from the oppressive Church of England. Thanksgiving is a Bible term mentioned 29 times from Leviticus to Revelation. The pilgrims landed in 1620 and had the first Thanksgiving in1623 decreed by Governor Bradford of Massachusetts. This celebration,I assume at Plymouth Rock,was observed with the Indian Natives with wild turkey and corn meal among many other foods to thank God the Great Provider for.Psalms26-7"That I may publish with the voiceof thanksgiving,and tell of all thy wondrous works.8-Lord,I love the habitation of thy house,and the place where thy honour dwelleth,9 Gather not my soul with sinners,nor my life with bloody men:10-in whose hands is mischief,and their right hand is full of bribes." The Catholic claim that SimonPeter was their 1st.Pope is a lie! I cannot believe what I have seen on thistrip,the boldness of the beast that the Apostle Peter was their first Pope,somewhere betw-eenAD49and67. The Apostles of JesusChrist never prayed people out of pergatory. They never forgave sin like the CatholicChurch does and they never worshipped Mary not even while she was alive. This book I bought from them proves them a lie,a fraud and a cheat. Of all things they claim,this Peter thing,in plain English,it proves how phony their pagan gospel is. With it they have deceived mill-ions,even one billion people living today,one fifth of the world. The Apostle Peter never traveled to Rome and never was Pope. Is there time left to cryout truth and come against the devil who dominates the world with false religions for which the kings have committed fornication with and preachers to? A soul can besaved I believe in a second,so let us standup and see the world be saved.
